The #OCC-90146HD can meets the Consumer Item Description (CID) for NSN #7240-00-160-0440.  The can is manufactured from prime galvanized steel and features deep side corrugations for superior strength and durability.  The can features heavy duty 0.375” diameter dual dropside handles.  The heavy gauge steel handle brackets are designed to limit the upward swing of the handle so that the hands are not pinched against the side of the can while lifting.  The top can edge contains a 6 gauge reinforcement wire for strength.  The bottom of the can is recessed in order to aid in the pouring of the contents and limits floor contact.  The bottom is domed to prevent sagging when loaded with material.  The tapered design allows nesting for convenient shipping of the product.  The can handle brackets are securely fastened to the unit utilizing a strong Tog-L-Loc® interlocking joint fastening system.

The can height is 26 1/4”, with a top diameter of 20 7/8”.  The bottom diameter is 18 1/2”.

Product Details:

    The body, bottom and lid of the can are made from25 ga. (0.021”) galvanized steel material.
    The can handle brackets are made from 14 Ga. Galvanized steel and are secured to the can with 8 Tog-L-Loc® joints on each bracket.
    The can body contains formed strengthening ribs and has 2 sideseams which are lockformed.
    The top edge of the can is reinforced with a 0.192” galvanized steel wire which is neatly rolled into the can.
    The dropside handles are made from 0.375” galvanized steel wire.
    The cans side and bottom seams can be sealed with a silicone sealant (FDA approved).

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The #90146HDL cover meets the Consumer Item Description (CID) for NSN #7240-00-161-1143.  The cover is manufactured from prime galvanized steel and features formed ribs for superior strength and durability.  The edges of the cover are neatly rolled to eliminate sharp edges.  The can features a heavy duty 0.207” diameter handle.  The heavy gauge handle bracket is securely fastened to the cover utilizing a strong Tog-L-Loc® interlocking joint fastening system.
